Overview
The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Committee was created on August 22, 2018. Its mission is to enhance two public lake-access areas, the Causeway at the northern tip of China Lake and the South China Boat Landing at the southern tip, expand public lake access, lay the groundwork for new business opportunities, target town-office-adjacent public land for a water-quality and research commercial venture, pursue trail development, and operate a revolving loan fund.
