For stray animals, the town contracts with the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta.
Dog Licensing
Dogs 6 months and older must be licensed by January 1 each year. A current Maine rabies vaccination is required.
- Spayed or neutered dog license fee: $6.00
- Not spayed or neutered dog license fee: $11.00
- Late fee (after January 31): $25.00
